Possibility,

not disability

Up to 50 young adults

with PMLD in Worcestershire may need the specialist services of a centre like Myriad over the next three to five years

It costs £67,700 a month

to run our services

The Myriad Centre delivers a service to young adults which is sought after by families and carers of youngsters with complex needs, throughout the UK

It is a fine example of a daytime respite care and support service, the very thing which families need once their child has become an adult and, not every town or city has such a provision which is accessible to them.

Richard Whateley, Myriad CEO

We make a real and positive difference to the lives of people with PMLD

The Myriad Centre is a registered charity providing specialist, personalised day respite services for young people and adults with profound learning disabilities and severe physical and sensory disabilities.

Myriad is all about providing a safe, happy and welcoming space where people with PMLD can have fun, forge friendships, and make the most of every single day.

Everything we do focuses on the individual needs of our clients to ensure that they, and their families and carers, are receiving the care and support to enrich their lives.

We are based in Worcester and support young people and families from across Worcestershire and surrounding areas.

We offer a full range of therapies including physiotherapy, music and art therapy, hydrotherapy and a programme of fun days out, all of which help improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of people with PMLD.
